Change in Schedule for NBC
The week of Sunday, March 22 we will only meet for worship at 10:30 am. All other services are canceled.
Our world has changed a lot over the last few weeks and people are projecting it will continue to change over the next several weeks. I have listened to a couple of doctors and consulted with other small churches as to what they think is the best practice for churches like us over the next several weeks. Below are the details for the coming week. We will re-evaluate each week based on new information.
Avoid handshakes and hugs. You may not care but others do and we don’t want to make them feel uncomfortable or be the bad guy that says no.
Spread out across the building. The most likely spread is by singing and coughing.
a. Households should set together.
b. Don’t share a pew with another household.
c. Keep at least one pew between each household.
We will use individual communion cups that contain the bread and juice.
Collect and dispose of your own communion cup(s).
Wipe down everything in the bathroom with Clorox Wipes when you use it (toilet seat, handles, sink area and knobs, door knob – throw wipe in trash by water fountain).
If you feel sick, have a bad cough, or feel the need to limit contact with people don’t come. There are many churches live streaming their church services on Facebook or via their website. Hamilton, Double Springs, Winfield, and Ninth Avenue live stream their services via their Facebook page.
