Sunday 10:30AM & 5:00PM
WHAT TO EXPECT
You will find that we are a small church with a big heart. We are an imperfect people whose main goal in life is to become more like Jesus every day.
Our services include a cappella, or “voices only” music. A person will lead us and most of the song’s lyrics will appear on the screens to make it easier for you to join in and sing. We will have prayers led by men in our church.
We take communion every Sunday. You may know it as “The Lord’s Supper” or “Eucharist.” This is a time to reflect on the depths of the love of Jesus by giving his life on the cross so we could have salvation. We celebrate his grace and examine our own life to see where we need to become more like Jesus.
We have a weekly message from our minister, Rusty Pettus. At the end, we invite anyone who has spiritual or personal needs to respond. You can also request needs or prayers by filling out a card and placing it in the collection plate after the sermon.
We take up a weekly collection or offering. This is a time when our members give to help us carry out the mission of the church. As our guest, please do not feel any need to give.
One big question about church, is always, “What do I wear?” You will find members who wear jeans, khakis, polo’s, dresses, coats, and ties. We encourage you to wear whatever is comfortable for you.
